My wife and I are the owners of an education company in Vinh City, Vietnam. We are looking for some awesome teachers to join our growing team. If you like helping students learn to love English, please join us.

We started Sean’s House in Vinh 10 years ago. I’m from America and my wife is from Vietnam. We want our teachers to have the freedom to teach how they want. We encourage them to be creative. We take our students on field trips, bake cookies and teach them how ice cream is made. Of course they get to eat what they make!

We want our students to feel comfortable using the English language. We want to build strong relationships between teachers, students and parents.

In 2024 we built a shared living and teaching space in the Nam Le Loi neighborhood. The classrooms are modern with large TVs and strong AC plus strong WiFi. Our company is led by Thuy and I. I’m from America. I’ve been teaching English in Vietnam for almost 15 years. Thuy has been a teacher for 10 years. We have experience working with foreign teachers. We treat them fairly, have open communication and we pay on time.

We are looking for teachers to start immediately. You must complete a trial period and teach a demo lesson. To apply, please contact me.

Job Details

  • Full or part-time
  • Help young learners (ages 4–16) improve their English speaking and listening skills
  • Create a friendly, positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Work closely with our Vietnamese bi-lingual teaching assistants
  • Create engaging lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Write student progress reports, assign and grade homework

Requirements

  • Likes spending time with children
  • Energetic, responsible, and passionate about education
  • Native speaker of English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Teaching certification (TEFL, DELTA, etc)
